If you use Windows 10 and you didn't disable its updates then you could got an update KB5000802 pair days ago that breaks LibreOffice work. If your LibreOffice crashes or doesn't print now, then:
- Delete that Windows update KB5000802
- Delete LibreOffice, include a user profile from C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice
- Reboot Windows
- Reinstall LibreOffice
If these steps didn't help, please write a comment here. Thanks
Hello! If I need to do that on 100 PC or more... maybe you can make a new version compatible with update KB5000802... W10 will install update again and problem will come back
ReplyDeleteMS should withdraw the update
Delete... they did; and then they have released https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/march-15-2021-kb5001567-os-builds-19041-868-and-19042-868-out-of-band-6e0844a2-7551-4b2d-9c4b-4274a5949bf3 and https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/march-15-2021-kb5001566-os-build-18363-1441-out-of-band-23c4c824-8638-43e9-a381-ff58213ae6fe to address this.
DeleteIt is absolutely wrong to try to "fix" system problems in applications; and it's undeserved to claim that MS does not fix their problems.
Interrupting updates for the near future seems to me to be the best solution for the time being
ReplyDeleteLibreoffice ceased to function. Documents do not open. And they cannot be printed. What to do?
ReplyDeleteJust wait when MS fix it in follow system updates =(
